Job summary

• Experience with syndicated and club transactions; exposure to private credit sponsor financing is a plus.
• Experience with structured finance, CLOs and fund finance is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent and advise clients in a wide range of finance transactions, including syndicated and club deals.
• Work with bank and non-bank institutions, private credit funds, and sponsors on acquisition financings and other leveraged finance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, and related materials.
• Collaborate with colleagues across offices to manage cross-border and multi-jurisdictional deals.
• Support clients with Structured finance, CLO, and fund finance transactions as opportunities arise.
• Provide clear, commercially focused legal advice to clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of substantive finance experience at a large law firm.


• Demonstrated experience in syndicated and club transactions, with particular exposure to private credit sponsor acquisition financings.


• Experience in structured finance, CLOs, and fund finance is a strong plus.


• Proven track record of working on cash flow lending and other complex finance transactions.


• Admission to the Illinois Bar required.
