Finance Associate

This role is based on-site in our Boston office Monday-Thursday and remote on Friday.

Position Summary

The Finance Associate is a dynamic, high-impact role designed for an analytical financial professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this position, you will directly support Entyre Care's top management team on strategic finance matters while helping track revenue, caregiver payouts, and operational margins across individual states and branches. Offering significant visibility to executive leadership, you will play a key role in regular financial planning (FP) processes, combining meticulous data verification with variance analysis to support our high-growth corporate strategy.

The ideal candidate is a high-caliber, tech-savvy professional who understands data flows, possesses a strong baseline in accounting principles, and wants to accelerate their career within a modern finance department.

Core Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Analysis
  • Segment Reporting Support: Assist in maintaining the structural ledger framework for separate profit centers across expanding state territories, regional hubs, and specific insurance/Medicaid payer contracts.
  • Margin & Expense Tracking: Monitor the daily allocation of internal costs, localized administrative overhead, and high-volume family caregiver payouts against state reimbursement inflows.
  • Data Verification & Systems Support: Utilize enterprise accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday) to process data, verify transactions, and ensure financial data flows seamlessly across all profit centers.
  • P&L Analysis: Partner with finance leadership and regional operational teams to review monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, highlighting unit economics and localized cost trends.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting Support: Assist in gathering data for the annual corporate budget and updating rolling 12-month financial projections.
  • Data Gathering for Expansion: Collect and analyze financial data to help leadership assess the feasibility and upfront costs of entering new state healthcare markets.
  • Dashboard Management: Maintain financial dashboards that compare actual profit center performance against corporate forecasts for internal stakeholders and management.
  • Experience Pedigree: 1–3 years of experience in corporate accounting, financial analysis, or public accounting. Prior exposure to multi-entity accounting, healthcare systems, or health-tech environments is a plus.
  • Technical Literacy: Strong proficiency in Excel and experience navigating enterprise ERP environments or cloud-based financial ecosystems.
  • Systems Comfort: A strong conceptual understanding of how data flows between operational platforms and accounting software, with the ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Corporate Finance, Economics, or a closely related field. Progress toward a CPA or CMA designation is a plus.
  • Analytical Capabilities: Solid foundational skills in financial modeling and data analysis, with a sharp eye for detail and data accuracy.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Data Accuracy & Reconciliations: Ensuring high precision in weekly and monthly expense tracking, caregiver payout allocations, and ledger entries.
  • Reporting Timeliness: Meeting all deadlines for month-end close support and standard report generation to help accelerate team decision-making.
  • Variance Visibility: Effectively identifying and escalating unexpected variances between projected expenses and actual accounting outputs to finance leadership.
How We Operate - Non-Negotiable:
"Insanely Great" for Families - Delivered Now:

Forget just 'satisfaction'. We deliver support that makes caregivers feel loved and seen. Understand their pain, anticipate their needs, and solve them – fast.

The standard is "Insanely Great," period. Anything less slows us down and fails our families.

Speed is King - Ruthless Focus is the Key:

Velocity comes from focus. Kill distractions. We concentrate all firepower on the #1 critical objective until it's done. Then we attack the next one.

Decide what not to do and cut it ruthlessly. Being a mile wide and an inch deep is failure. Move the needle now.

Raise the Bar: Crush Mediocrity:

Mediocrity is poison. It kills speed, morale, and companies. We hunt it down and eliminate it. Good enough is never good enough.

Demand A-Player performance from yourself and everyone around you. Own your shit. Deliver excellence, fast. No excuses, no passengers.

The Speed Algorithm: Question. Delete. Simplify. Accelerate.

This is how we build momentum: Question every requirement – who asked? why? Delete ruthlessly – parts, processes, bureaucracy. If you don't add 10% back later, you didn't cut enough. Simplify what's left. Then, accelerate cycle time like hell.

Challenge everything. "It can't be done" means "You haven't figured it out yet. Go do it." Break bottlenecks, find shortcuts, remove friction.

Act Like Owners - Bold Bets, Fast Action:

This is your company. Own the mission, own the results. Don't wait for permission – take initiative.

Make bold bets that can leapfrog progress for our families. Act decisively. Move fast. If you stumble, learn faster and go again. Bias for action is everything.

The Bottom Line:

We are building something vital and doing it at lightning speed. This requires intensity, focus, and a relentless drive to execute. If reading this makes you want to jump up and build faster, welcome to Entyre. If not, get out of the way.
