Job summary

Peregrine Technologies is seeking a VP of Finance to build the financial engine behind its growth. You will design the long‑range model, annual operating plan, forecasting, and analysis for major investment decisions.

You will scale the FP&A function and partner with the CFO, Controller, and leadership to enable data‑driven decisions. The ideal candidate has startup and mature company experience, exceptional modeling, and a track record of cross‑functional leadership.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive finance experience.
• Strong financial modeling capability.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Experience with cross-functional alignment.
• Experience with government contracting or regulated environments is a plus.
• Experience supporting international expansion is a plus.
• Willing to work in San Francisco office 4x/week.

Responsibilities

• Build multi-year model translating goals into driver-based roadmap.
• Lead the annual operating plan with department heads.
• Establish monthly budget vs actual cadence and diagnose variances.
• Develop forecasting for multi-segment GTM.
• Analyze unit economics across products and segments.
• Prepare financial narratives for CFO, Board, and investors.
• Build FP&A team with AI-native processes.
