Job summary

The Growth Company: Education & Skills is offering an apprenticeship to support the Finance Team in day-to-day central finance functions and in delivering services to parishes. You will work with invoices, reconciliations and banking tasks under supervision, gaining comprehensive on-the-job training.

Responsibilities include invoice checking, bank and supplier reconciliations, liaising with suppliers and parish representatives, and managing the Finance inbox, with full training provided to help

Qualifications

• GCSE grades A*-C in Maths and English.
• Accountancy Level 2 qualification.
• Strong numeracy and organisational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Invoice checking, processing, scanning and file maintenance.
• Bank reconciliations and supplier statement reconciliations.
• Processing banking and debtor statement reconciliations.
• Liaising with suppliers, staff and parish representatives.
• Monitoring of Finance inbox.
