Job Details

Our prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced and dedicated Finance and Real Estate Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This full-time permanent position is a unique opportunity to apply your specialized knowledge and skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. As a Finance and Real Estate Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team with a broad range of real estate and finance transactions. You will be responsible for managing title commitments, conducting real estate closings, and providing comprehensive support for our legal team. Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents related to real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, leases, and deeds.
  • Coordinate and manage real estate closings, ensuring all necessary documents are prepared and signed.
  • Review title commitments and surveys, resolve title issues, and coordinate title insurance policies.
  • Conduct extensive legal research and analysis on various real estate and finance-related matters.
  • Liaise with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in real estate transactions.
  • Prepare and file legal documents with appropriate entities, including courts, county clerks, and recorder's offices.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings, and attend such proceedings when required.
  • Maintain organized case files and track deadlines to ensure timely compliance with all legal requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, paralegal certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in the areas of finance and real estate law.
  • Proficient in handling title commitments and conducting real estate closings.
  • Exceptional knowledge of federal and state real estate and finance law regulations.
  • Strong research and report-generating skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
