Job summary

Swank Motion Pictures is seeking a motivated Accounting Intern for Summer 2027 to rotate between Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, gaining hands-on exposure to the full accounting cycle.

You will work with experienced professionals to develop practical skills in financial processes, internal controls, and reporting, delivering a summer project with key insights to department leaders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing financial, sales, and operational data to identify trends and business insights.
• Support pricing and profitability analysis to better understand revenue drivers.
• Help prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for business leaders.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to evaluate campaign performance and customer trends.
• Conduct market and competitive research to support strategic initiatives.
• Learn to build and maintain Excel-based financial models and analytical tools.
• Assist with data validation and reporting accuracy through root-cause analysis.
• Present your summer project and key findings to department leaders at the conclusion of the internship.
