About The Role

As a Sr. Finance Analyst within CBRE’s Financial Strategy and Operations team, you will apply advanced accounting principles to prepare, review, and deliver accurate financial reports for a diverse portfolio of clients and properties. Your work will ensure compliance with accounting policies and support operational and management teams by providing insightful financial information. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex financial data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate to advanced accounting transactions and prepare client financial statement packages
• Create and post journal entries, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded
• Generate and review financial packages for accuracy and completeness, adhering to deadlines
• Review and audit funding and payment requests for accuracy and compliance with procedures
• Address complex accounting issues and inquiries from management teams and clients
• Identify and resolve potential issues, ensuring quality and accuracy in reporting
• Facilitate maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics
• Apply standard accounting principles and problem-solving techniques to assigned tasks
• Communicate complex financial information clearly in straightforward situations
• Demonstrate leadership by modeling behaviors aligned with CBRE’s core values
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 2-5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience; combination of education and experience considered
• Strong understanding of accounting procedures and standards to solve moderately complex issues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Advanced mathematical skills including financial calculations such as percentages and fractions
• Excellent organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset
• Ability to analyze data and apply sound judgment to determine solutions
• Strong communication skills to explain financial information to non-experts

• Competitive salary range: $90,000 to $104,500 annually, based on experience and qualifications
