Job summary

Nouryon is seeking a Financial Analyst – Logistics & Procurement in Houston to analyze freight and logistics costs, support forecasting, and improve cost visibility across functions. You will work with SAP, Business Warehouse, Power BI and other data sources to drive actionable insights.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Finance, Logistics, and Procurement teams, dashboard development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; Master's degree is a plus.
2–5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting or reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into insights.
Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse, and Excel.
Ability to communicate findings clearly with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Analyze freight and logistics costs, shipment volumes and KPIs to identify trends and variances.
Support budgeting, forecasting and monthly/quarterly financial reporting.
Prepare dashboards and presentations for month-end reviews and business meetings.
Manage global freight data and build dashboards to improve cost transparency.
Participate in Lean Six Sigma projects and cross-functional process improvements.
