Spectrum Brands' Home & Personal Care Appliances division is seeking an entry-level Commercial Finance Analyst to support customer forecasting, profitability analysis, pricing, accrual management, and business reporting. The role impacts upper sales and marketing decisions with timely, accurate reporting and analysis.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, strong Excel skills, and is not open to sponsorship.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required. Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
• Role not eligible for sponsorship.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Analytical (50%): Prepare customer-level variance reporting monthly; explain variances for leadership review.
• Reconcile accruals for the assigned customer base and ensure accuracy of accrual setup and quarter-end balances.
• Resolve customer deductions by reviewing cases and coordinating with cross-functional teams to address discrepancies.
• Build and update daily sales reports and month-end close reporting used across the commercial organization.
• Perform controls and maintain documentation in support of SOX and GAAP requirements.
• Marketing/Sales/Relationship (40%): Collaborate with Sales/Marketing to build P&Ls for new pitches and advise on pricing to hit profitability targets.
• Forecast monthly for the assigned customer base and maintain strong communication with sales partners.
• Assist in analysis of excess/obsolete inventory with cross-functional teams to maintain healthy stock levels.
• Support new product development through P&L analysis and serve as the financial point of contact for the customer base.
• Other (10%): Produce ad-hoc reports as requested by finance leadership or retail sales team.
