The role includes managing product costing and multi-plant inventory valuation, delivering rapid analysis, and driving improvements in reporting systems to extract value and reduce complexity. A Bachelor's in finance or accounting is required; ERP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related area.
• 3 years of experience in an accounting role with emphasis in financial analysis.
• Accounting degree.
• 1 year working with an ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely financial information and advice on actual, forecast, and budgeted results to support business decisions.
• Prepare financial evaluations, budgets, and business plans; report on performance to plan.

Job Title Reporting t o : Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure the leadership team is provided with timely, high quality and accurate financial information and advice regard ing actual, forecast, and budgeted results. This information is critical to support business decisions via identification and analysis of key business drivers and evaluation of cost/benefit analysis and business improvement options.
• Prepare financial evaluations, prepare and manage budgets, prepare business plan s, report on performance to plan, communicat e and educat e about key business results , stewardship of assets and risk management activities, and submit non-plant capital expenditure s
• Manages product costing and inventory valuation for multiple plant sites
• Provide impromptu financial analysis and detail in a very quick turn -around environment under intense pr essure with multiple priorities
• Manages product costing and inventory valuation for multiple plant sites
• Deliver continuous improvement in the quality of the management and financial reporting systems and output , identifying opportunities to extract additional value and reduce business complexity .
• Support via the preparation of material for presentation and discussion with company's leadership team - m onthly b usiness r eview process
• Improve stewardship of the regional business assets by ensuring adequate controls and adherence to policies and standards
• Ensure adherence to the regional Delegation of Authority ongoing

Education & Experience Qualifications

Minim um :

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related area
• 3 years of experience in an accounting role with emphasis in financial analysis role
• Accounting d egree
• 1 year working with an ERP system

Preferred :

• MBA degree
• 3+ years of experience in a cost accounting role
• 5+ years of experience in a relevant role
• Certified Public Accountant certification
• Construction and Manufacturing operations experience
• Experience with SAP
