Job summary

Barclays is seeking graduates to join the Explorer Finance Graduate program, a 2-year rotation across finance functions designed to give depth and breadth from day one. You will work on real projects, collaborating with senior leaders to inform decisions and identify new market opportunities.

You will receive training, mentorship, and exposure to strategic conversations, with opportunities to develop technical skills and leadership capabilities throughout the program.

Responsibilities

• Daily profit and loss analysis for business units, identifying and researching performance impacts, trends and insights.
• Compilation of regular reports, scorecards and presentations based on analysis for senior management.
• Participation in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Assist in calls and meetings with fiscal stakeholders.
• Management of the development and implementation of financial models and strategies that support in decision making.
• Training and mentoring of junior colleagues, facilitation of individual or group training sessions, and development and maintenance of training materials.
• Utilisation of data and data points in many forms to derive financials for key decision making and support of strategic conversations with senior leaders.
