Job summary

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in finance or related field, 2–5 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with planning software. You will collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to improving financial processes and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in a finance analyst role, preferably within tech, SaaS, or consulting.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial functions).
• Experience with financial planning software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Hyperion) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-finance stakeholders.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting activities to support strategic business decisions.
• Perform in-depth financial analysis of actual results versus budget/forecast, identifying variances and trends.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of annual operating plans and long-range financial plans.
• Support due diligence efforts for potential investments, mergers, or acquisitions.
• Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and industry benchmarks to provide insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and understand business drivers.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies within financial operations.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required by senior management.
