Job summary

Calculated Hire in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the VP of Alternative Investments Operations. You will build and maintain financial models, analyze large datasets, and contribute to budgeting, pricing, and forecasting to guide leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a finance-related field and strong analytical skills.
• Experience in financial analysis, FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting is preferred.
• Ability to develop and maintain financial models for investments, pricing and operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the VP of Alternative Investments Operations with financial analysis, reporting, and operational initiatives.
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investments, pricing, performance, and business decisions.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including data gathering, trend analysis, and variance identification.
• Conduct pricing analysis and provide financial insights to support investment and operational decisions.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and maintain recurring financial reports, dashboards, and analysis for leadership.
• Work with large datasets in Excel to organize, validate, analyze, and summarize information.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather financial information and ensure data accuracy.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to the VP and upper management.
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as the team grows.
• Help improve and streamline financial processes, reporting, and analytical tools as the organization evolves.
