Job summary

Talentify is seeking a seasoned corporate finance professional in Sunnyvale, CA, to lead capitalization and depreciation and to drive accurate P&L reporting across units. The role partners with business teams to implement policies, improve financial controls, and train partners on capitalization concepts.

The candidate should bring 5+ years in corporate finance, strong Excel skills, and experience with Tableau is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate finance experience with deep understanding of classifying capital and operating expenditures to help the P/L.
• Understanding, leading, and executing capitalization and depreciation of assets across multiple business units.
• Developing training material for capitalization / depreciation education to business partners.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; must form positive relationships with business partners and peers.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to senior leaders.
• Proactive problem solver, able to present problems and recommendations simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain capitalization and depreciation policies and standards.
• Partner with finance and business units to ensure accurate expense categorization.
• Create training materials to educate partners on capitalization/depreciation processes.
• Support senior leaders with clear financial reporting and insights.

• Extensive Excel knowledge and experience, Tableau experience a plus
