Job summary

Performix in Fairfield, OH seeks a Plant Cost & Financial Analyst for a 3-month on-site role with partial work-from-home flexibility (M-Th on site, F is WFH). The analyst delivers timely manufacturing finance reporting, focusing on WIP, inventory, PPV and plant P&L, and prepares the Analysis of Change to explain movements.

The incumbent turns data into cost-driver insights, flags anomalies early, and collaborates with Finance, Operations and Master Data to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Desirable experience in cost accounting, manufacturing finance or plant finance.
• Understanding of standard costing, inventory valuation, WIP, PPV and usage variances.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling) and experience working with ERP data.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to reconcile data across multiple sources.

The Plant Cost & Financial Analyst supports the Plant Controller in delivering accurate, timely and insightful manufacturing finance reporting. The role owns a recurring cadence of weekly and intra-week reports — WIP, inventory transactions, material usage variance, PPV and the plant P&L — and prepares the Analysis of Change (AOC) that explains period-over-period movements in plant performance. The analyst turns transactional data into clear explanations of cost drivers and flags anomalies early so the Controller and Operations leadership can act on them.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Desirable experience in cost accounting, manufacturing finance or plant finance.
• Understanding of standard costing, inventory valuation, WIP, PPV and usage variances.

Preferred

• Experience with Oracle ERP (costing, inventory and subledger reporting).
• Exposure to engineer-to-order or project-based manufacturing environments.

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
