Job summary

Jobtailor in Los Angeles is seeking an FP&A professional to strengthen profitability, efficiency, and strategic decision support through robust financial modeling and analytics.

You will partner with Commercial leadership to deliver results, support AOP, and develop finance tools while training stakeholders on the process. This role emphasizes monthly/quarterly reviews and insightful executive dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years of financial analysis experience or equivalent.
• MBA or CPA preferred.

Job description

• Support strategies to drive increased profitability, process efficiency, reduced costs, and overall business improvement


• Partner with Commercial leadership to deliver financial and strategic results using FP&A best practices


• Support corporate FP&A processes, initiatives, and reporting within Operations


• Facilitate the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process and tools


• Develop and deploy Finance tools and processing across the organization


• Train business stakeholders on the AOP process


• Support monthly and quarterly business review processes


• Perform financial modeling and ad hoc analytics


• Develop and identify insights and opportunities


• Provide analytical support for strategic investment decisions


• Generate corporate and business segment forecasts based on defined cadences


• Create executive management reporting dashboards and distill key insights


• Develop and deploy tools and processes across the organization as defined by the business


• Follow supervisor instructions and perform other related duties as requested

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance


• 2+ years of financial or business-related analysis experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience


• MBA degree preferred


• CPA preferred


• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills


• Broad knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures


• Ability to communicate information in written, oral, or diagram form


• Ability to deal with problems involving several discrete variables in standardized situations


• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently


• Ability to work with little direct supervision


• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States


• Regularly able to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to operate computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone


• Frequently able to sit and reach with hands and arms


• Occasionally able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
