Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a strategic finance leader to guide financial strategy, budgeting and forecasting. You will lead, advise senior management and coordinate analysis across business areas.

The role requires seven years of accounting/finance experience, MBA/CPA/CFA preferred, and strong presentation and leadership skills to drive financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA/CPA/CFA preferred.
• Minimum seven years experience in general financial accounting, reporting or analysis.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated skills in analysis, financial and economic modeling, financial process controls and problem solving.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to interface with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic counsel, expertise, vision and leadership for identifying, evaluating, implementing and integrating appropriate financial strategies.
• Oversee gathering, analysis, preparation and summary of present and future financial budget trends and performance.
• Present to Business Area leaders and work closely with senior leadership on financial strategy utilization.
• Perform complex, confidential financial studies and analysis.
• Develop and implement unique solutions to complex financial problems.
• Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria, including interpreting accounting guidance.
• Coordinate financial analysis and management support for the annual budget process.
• Provide modeling, analysis and financial support for current-year and five-year forecasting.
• Lead complex projects and financial evaluations.
• Implement process improvements and business solutions.
• Direct, guide and review the work of Financial Analysts.
• Manage change and assist others in managing change.
