Job summary

S&P Global is seeking a strategic AI+ Lead to join the Enterprise Finance and Strategy team. You will partner with Corporate Finance and divisional CFOs to implement scalable AI solutions, driving efficiency and governance across Finance processes.

The role emphasizes AI/ML, NLP, GenAI initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration to execute the long-term AI+ strategy with ethical considerations and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in finance, digital transformation, or related fields, with substantial experience in implementing AI, automation, or robotics strategies.
• Proven experience in leading AI/ML, NLP, and Gen AI projects in a global, complex organizational environment.
• Strong project and program management experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable business outcomes

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive AI+ strategy for the Finance team, aligned with SPGI's overall business objectives.
• Identify and prioritize AI opportunities, across Finance processes, including creating a roadmap for AI+ initiatives, outlining key milestones, resources, and timelines.
• Guide the implementation of AI technologies (including automation, robotics, AI/ML, and GenAI), ensuring they integrate smoothly with existing workflows and systems.
• Lead the design and deployment of AI solutions that improve business performance, customer satisfaction and operational efficiencies across the Finance function
• Partner with Finance Technology Lead, Corporate Finance, and divisional CFOs to ensure AI solutions are aligned with business needs and stakeholder readiness for AI adoption
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into AI+ solutions
• Coordinate with internal technology teams, Corporate Finance, and external vendors to implement AI+ solutions effectively
• Articulate the potential of AI/ML, NLP, and GenAI tools, helping stakeholders understand their benefits, limitations, and prerequisites for successful implementation
• Establish KPIs to measure ROI of AI+ initiatives and present progress to senior leadership
• Develop governance mechanisms to ensure ethical AI deployment and compliance
