Job summary

Cincinnatus LLC is hiring a senior finance domain expert to work with an AI lab on improving how frontier models reason about real financial work. This on-site, hybrid role is based in the Bay Area, CA, with relocation at the candidate's cost if needed.

You will review finance knowledge work tasks, write instruction specs, and develop golden solutions and benchmarks for model evaluation, partnering with researchers across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of substantive, dedicated professional finance experience at a recognized institution.
• Genuine specialization in at least one core finance discipline (e.g., FP&A, M&A, asset management).
• Senior IC or leadership level with ownership of analysis and decisions.
• Advanced degree (MBA/MS/PhD) or CFA/CPA/FRM credential preferred.
• Hands-on use of large language models in professional work.

Responsibilities

• Vet the quality of finance knowledge work tasks and model outputs.
• Write instruction specs and golden solutions for financial problems.
• Define finance tasks and evaluation sets reflecting real-world practice.
• Translate tacit financial judgment into explicit, teachable criteria.
