Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a hands-on AI and data engineer to join the Finance team in Atlanta. You will design, build, and maintain AI-enabled infrastructure, integrate REST APIs and databases, and guide finance professionals in using AI for analysis and decision-making.

You will develop data acquisition pipelines, analyze data to uncover insights, and serve as a bridge between Finance and engineering. Expect to deliver impactful AI solutions within six months and scale new ideas within a year.

Qualifications

• Experience working with business stakeholders, especially in finance or business operations.
• Experience integrating systems via REST APIs and databases.
• Strong data flow management abilities.
• Programming skills for data acquisition and cleaning.
• Experience with data warehousing (BigQuery or Snowflake).
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts.

Responsibilities

• Work embedded within Finance to identify AI opportunities.
• Guide finance professionals to use AI tools for data analysis and decision-making.
• Design, build, and maintain AI-enabled infrastructure and data pipelines.
• Develop data acquisition processes and prepare data for models.
• Conduct data analysis to uncover insights and validate data integrity.
• Translate business needs into robust technical solutions across teams.
• Improve Finance workflows with AI-based automation.
• Deliver impactful AI solutions within six months.
• Identify and scale new AI solutions within twelve months.
• Report to the Director, Engineering on the Enterprise Systems and Data team.
