Job summary

Cisco is seeking a data-focused professional to own the Power BI semantic model used by finance AI tools. You’ll integrate SAP HANA, Snowflake, and SharePoint data to support hundreds of millions of records across bookings, forecast, and OpEx, delivering reliable metrics for leadership.

You will collaborate with FP&A and AI Champions, extend data domains, and build automated checks to catch refresh issues before finance uses the data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a quantitative field with 3+ years in data science, analytics engineering, or BI, or 1+ year with a Master's.
• 3+ years building Power BI semantic models, including DAX, Power Query, and dataflows.
• 3+ years writing SQL against large datasets (Snowflake, joins, window functions, CTEs).
• 3+ years using Python for data processing, API calls, and automation with Git.

Responsibilities

• Own and extend the Power BI semantic model, including relationships, DAX measures, dataflows, and access controls.
• Incorporate new data domains from Snowflake, ensure reconciliation with official reporting.
• Enhance AI agent access to data via model metadata and measure descriptions.
• Design tools using Python automations, ML models, and MCP connectors to query live data.
