Job description

We are looking for an experienced AI Data Engineer who can work with complex data structures in a corporate environment. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Power BI, including building data transformations and using DAX for logic and reporting. This role will also involve integrating AI and machine learning into data workflows to improve business intelligence. The person should have strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to explain technical ideas clearly to both technical and non‑technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with data modelers to prepare and optimize datasets for AI model training and testing.
• Design and build data pipelines for AI and machine learning workflows.
• Integrate AI‑based analytics and predictive models into Power BI.
• Use AI tools and services like Azure Cognitive Services or OpenAI to improve data insights.
• Develop and maintain DBT models and perform data testing.
• Build and manage data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Design and implement complex data models using star or snowflake schema.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards using DAX for logic and performance improvement.
• Work with other teams to ensure reliable and scalable data solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of SQL, DBT, ADF, DAX, Power BI, and Snowflake.
• Experience working with AI or machine learning in data workflows.
• Good understanding of data modeling and schema design.
• Hands‑on experience building and managing pipelines in ADF and DBT.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and query optimization in Snowflake.
• Experience using Azure cloud for data and AI services.
• Knowledge of SQL and DAX, and basic experience in Python or R is a plus.
• Ability to design and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Experience supporting AI model training and deployment.
