Gartner is seeking a Finance AI Expert to join our Finance Practice. You will interact with CFOs, FP&A and finance leaders to advise on AI investments in forecasting, planning, budgeting and R2R processes.

You will develop transformational AI use cases, guide pilots to scale, and publish impactful insights for global clients. You will lead research, craft compelling content, and present at Gartner events and client briefings, influencing our research agenda and market strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10-12+ years of finance function and technology topics experience, with 2+ years of AI for finance.
• Experience with AI technology including ML, AI agents, predictive modelling, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Experience with data science, quantitative analytics, statistics, probabilistic decision-making and Python or similar languages.

Responsabilités

• Create and deliver financially focused insights and AI-related finance recommendations for CFOs, FP&A leaders and controllers.
• Develop and communicate finance AI use cases from pilot to production, scale, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Stay updated on AI trends in finance and contribute to Gartner’s research agenda and client briefings.
• Produce high-quality content and presentations for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client meetings.
• Support sales and BTI with market insights to drive client engagement and opportunities.
