Job summary

McDermott, Will & Schulte LLP is building a leading AI program within its Accounting & Finance function. The Senior Manager will own the Reporting, Data & AI Center of Excellence, driving strategy, governance, and delivery of analytics, automation, and AI across financial operations.

This senior leadership role requires setting the roadmap, standards, and delivering measurable impact, with the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable tech solutions and to lead cross‑functional

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive analytics, reporting, financial systems, automation, AI, or digital transformation.
3+ years of leadership building high‑performing teams.
Proven governance frameworks, operating models, and strategic roadmaps.
Strong accounting principles, financial operations, and data governance knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead the Reporting, Data & AI Center of Excellence with strategy and roadmaps.
Develop and prioritize a portfolio of analytics, automation, and AI initiatives.
Define reporting standards, KPI definitions, and semantic models.
Own end‑to‑end AI program from intake to value realization.
Apply AI and automation across Contract‑to‑Cash, Invoice‑to‑Pay, Plan‑to‑Report.
Establish responsible AI governance including controls and risk management.
Partner with IT on strategy, integrations, and data architecture.
Lead governance forums and measure business outcomes.
Develop and mentor team members to foster collaboration.
