McDermott Will & Schulte LLP is seeking a Senior Manager of AI & Analytics to own the Accounting & Finance Systems Reporting and the AI Center of Excellence. You will drive strategy, governance, and delivery of analytics, automation, and AI capabilities powering the firm’s financial operations.

The role is a senior leadership position responsible for building the roadmap, setting standards, and delivering measurable impact across Contract-to-Cash, Invoice-to-Pay, and Plan-to-Report.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in analytics, reporting, financial systems, automation, AI, or digital transformation.
• 3+ years of leadership experience with high-performing teams.
• Proven ability to establish governance frameworks and strategic roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and data governance.
• Working knowledge of generative AI and intelligent automation.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable tech solutions.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IS, Business, Data Analytics, CS, or related field; advanced credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Reporting, Data & AI Center of Excellence with a multi-year roadmap.
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of analytics, automation, and AI initiatives.
• Define reporting standards, KPI definitions, and semantic models.
• Own the Accounting & Finance AI program end-to-end from intake to value realization.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI across Contract-to-Cash, Invoice-to-Pay, Plan-to-Report.
• Establish responsible AI governance including controls and risk management.
• Partner with IT on strategy, integrations, security, and data architecture governance.
• Lead governance forums to prioritize initiatives and measure outcomes.
• Develop and mentor team members and foster collaboration.
