Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the CFO Advisory team within Financial Advisory Services. You will help CFOs and finance leaders improve reporting processes and drive performance through analytics and process improvements.

The team serves mid-market to public clients across technology, real estate, manufacturing, energy, and more, and emphasizes practical, hands-on support with close collaboration with managers and partners.

Qualifications

• Two or more years' experience in a large accounting firm in audit or financial advisory service line.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Knowledge and ability to use Power BI and Tableau for analytics.
• Exposure to QuickBooks, NetSuite, Intacct and related financial software.
• High motivation, initiative and positive attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Strong Excel modeling skills and data-driven insight generation.
• Ability to travel (~25%) and work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in projects focused on Finance Performance Improvement, Analytics and Decision Support, and Financial Accounting Advisory Services.
• Interact with managers and partners on client matters and engagement management.
• Strengthen client relationships by delivering outstanding service.
• Communicate with executives, investors, lenders and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of value.
• Assist with recruiting activities including campus recruiting and referrals.
