Job summary

• Develop and manage the Operations budget.
• Ensure responsible stewardship of church resources.
• Track key performance indicators and conduct regular reviews for continuous improvement.
• Oversee internal IT infrastructure.
• Manage key software systems that support church ministry and operations.
• Oversee the management, maintenance, and care of church property and facilities.
• Oversee HR administration and staff support functions.
• Partner with the Lead Pastor and/or Executive Pastor to shape vision and strategy for the Operations Department.
• Lead, manage, and hold Operations staff accountable to established goals.
• Build, train, and lead volunteer teams as needed.

Position Overview

The Finance & Administration Pastor provides leadership and oversight for key operational areas of the church, including finance, technology, facilities, human resources, and administration.

This role works closely with the Lead Pastor and/or Executive Pastor to develop strategy, lead staff and volunteers, steward resources well, and strengthen the systems that support Lifesong Church’s ministry.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Administration:

Oversee church finances, budgeting, procurement, and policy compliance

Develop and manage the Operations budget

Ensure responsible stewardship of church resources

Track key performance indicators and conduct regular reviews for continuous improvement

Oversee internal IT infrastructure

Manage key software systems that support church ministry and operations

Facilities:

Oversee the management, maintenance, and care of church property and facilities

Human Resources:

Oversee HR administration and staff support functions

Help ensure effective systems for staff management and development

Partner with the Lead Pastor and/or Executive Pastor to shape vision and strategy for the Operations Department
