Job summary

Compass Post Acute Rehabilitation in Conway, SC seeks a dedicated billing professional to manage financial records, ledgers, and accounts payable for the facility. You will prepare monthly statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports under the Administrator’s supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in the billing role of a nursing home is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior leadership/supervisor experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a system of financial recordkeeping, including ledgers, recording payments, receipts, and bank deposits.
• Monitor, plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the facility’s accounting functions under supervision.
• Maintain accounts payable system: invoicing, purchase orders, pay vouchers, check register, ledgers, etc.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, including balance sheet and income/expense reports.
• Prepare financial and statistical reports as required.
