Dominican University seeks part-time Adjunct Faculty to teach one or more Finance course sections during the Spring 2027 semester, at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Available sections span undergraduate corporate finance, investments coursework, and graduate-level financial management.

Candidates may apply for a single section or indicate interest in multiple sections. Advancing sections include FIN 301 Corporate Finance (On Campus) and FIN 322-01: Investments and Portfolio Management

Qualifications

Master's degree in Finance, or MBA with a concentration in finance, from an AACSB-accredited institution.
At least three to five years of professional or academic experience in investments, portfolio management, corporate finance or a closely related field.
Demonstrated expertise in financial management concepts and practices at a level appropriate for graduate instruction.

Responsibilities

Deliver instruction consistent with the approved syllabus and learning outcomes.
Prepare instructional materials, assignments, and assessments appropriate to the discipline.
Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment that supports student success.
Submit grades and required academic records accurately and on time.
Maintain reasonable availability to students, including scheduled office hours.
Respond to student communications in a timely manner.
Administer course evaluations.
Follow university academic policies and student accommodation procedures.
Coordinate with the Associate Dean and the Department Chair regarding course delivery and academic matters.
