Job summary

Strayer University seeks an Adjunct Faculty member for undergraduate/graduate finance courses in a hybrid format at the Charlotte campus. The role requires weekly in-person sessions plus asynchronous online instruction, with office hours and timely student feedback.

The ideal candidate has a doctorate in Finance or related field with substantial finance coursework, strong presentation and IT skills, and a commitment to flexible teaching across modalities. Travel to campus may be required.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Finance or related field with 27 credit hours in Finance required
• Master’s in Finance with 18 credit hours in Finance required or Doctorate in Business-related field with 27 graduate credit hours in Finance

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses from a pre-designed curriculum
• Maintain office hours and be available to students
• Deliver hybrid format instruction (in-person + online)
• Utilize technology and videos to enhance curriculum
• Attend faculty meetings and trainings as required
