Strategic Education, Inc. (Strayer University) seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach undergraduate/graduate finance courses in a hybrid format, starting winter quarter 2027 in Charlotte, NC.

The role combines on-site sessions with asynchronous online instruction and requires regular student contact and office hours. Responsibilities include delivering a pre-designed curriculum, enhancing content with technology, and maintaining consistent communication with students.

Qualifications

• PhD in Finance or related doctorate with 27 quarter credits (18 semester) in Finance required
• Or Doctorate in Business with Master’s in Finance or Master’s with 27 quarter credits (18 semester) in Finance required
• 5 years of professional experience in Finance-related field required
• Experience teaching at college level and online teaching preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate/graduate finance courses in a hybrid format (in-person and asynchronous online).
• Maintain office hours and be accessible to students via email, phone, text.
• Utilize online learning platform and pre-designed curriculum.
• Attend faculty meetings and workshops as required.
