Ares Management Corporation is seeking a Finance & Accounting Recruiter for a 12-month contract, based in Los Angeles or New York City. You will lead end-to-end recruiting for finance and accounting roles and partner with finance leadership to build strong, diverse pipelines.

You will source active and passive candidates, leverage direct sourcing and tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Workday, and ensure a high-touch, client-focused candidate experience in a fast-growing financial services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent.
• 5-7 years of Finance & Accounting recruiting experience in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter Boolean searches and talent sourcing methods.
• Experience negotiating job offers and terms of employment.
• Experience with high-volume Finance & Accounting recruitment and using ATS tools (Workday preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end full life cycle recruiting for Finance & Accounting roles across the business.
• Recruit across core Finance & Accounting functions (corporate accounting, fund accounting, tax, treasury, FP&A, internal audit, valuation, financial reporting).
• Partner with Finance & Accounting leadership to understand structures, requirements and priorities.
• Assess candidates for GAAP knowledge, CPA or related certifications, and financial services exposure.
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies and pipelines across public accounting, asset management, private equity and related areas.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR Partners, Compensation, and DEI teams to deliver recruiting solutions.
