Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA — In Office
Employment Type: Full‑Time
Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 annually, based on experience
We are a fast‑growing consumer goods and wholesale company based in Downtown Los Angeles seeking a sharp, highly organized Finance & Accounting Manager to own our day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who understands accounting fundamentals but also moves quickly, embraces technology, and enjoys solving problems.
You will manage the full cycle of accounts receivable and accounts payable, maintain accurate books and reconciliations, oversee company expenses and credit cards, and help management maintain a clear picture of cash flow and upcoming financial obligations.
You will work directly with company leadership and collaborate closely with our external CPA/CFO on financial reporting, month‑end close, tax preparation, forecasting, and larger financial projects.
This is not a traditional data‑entry bookkeeping position. We are looking for someone who understands how the numbers connect, notices when something doesn't make sense, and takes ownership of figuring it out.
We are looking for someone who is smart, fast, detail‑oriented, and highly accountable.
You should be comfortable working independently and taking a problem from identification through resolution.
Our business moves quickly, and we need someone who can keep up without sacrificing accuracy.
The right person doesn't simply enter a transaction because that's what a document says.
They ask questions when something looks wrong, understand how transactions affect the broader financial picture, and follow discrepancies until they are resolved.
You should also be technologically fluent and comfortable learning new systems quickly.
We use multiple platforms across accounting, inventory, banking, payments, and internal operations, and we expect this person to become highly proficient in how those systems work together.
Within the first few months, you should be able to independently manage the company's day‑to‑day accounting workflow, keep AR and AP accurate and current, maintain clean reconciliations, provide reliable cash flow visibility, and quickly identify discrepancies before they become larger problems.
Leadership should be able to ask you where cash stands, what we expect to collect, what we need to pay, and what requires attention—and receive a clear, accurate answer.
We are an entrepreneurial company with a lean team and a fast pace.
This role will have significant responsibility and direct exposure to company leadership.
We value people who take ownership, communicate clearly, learn quickly, and look for ways to make processes better rather than simply maintaining the status quo.
This is a full‑time, in‑office position in Downtown Los Angeles.
