Company Description

Titan Ready Mix (“Titan”) is one of the fastest-growing ready-mix concrete companies in North Texas. Backed by a private equity sponsor and scaling rapidly through greenfield developments, Titan currently operates in four locations in the DFW Metroplex. This is an opportunity to join a high-velocity team committed to expanding its geographical footprint, building a high-caliber finance and accounting function, and redefining operational excellence in a critical sector of infrastructure and construction.

Role Description

The Finance & Accounting Manager is a high-impact, cross-functional role at the intersection of FP&A, operational analytics, and financial reporting. This position reports directly to the CFO, working closely with senior leadership to develop scalable financial infrastructure, professionalize the finance and accounting functions, drive strategic decision-making, and ensure data-driven execution. The role is ideal for someone eager to take ownership, shape the company's accounting backbone, and eventually lead a team as the company grows. The position requires on-site presence most of the time, with opportunities for remote work on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for stakeholders.
  • Lead the integration of new tools and systems into the accounting infrastructure.
  • Conduct operational and financial analyses across key areas such as pricing, unit economics, plant performance, and margin trends.
  • Develop and maintain dynamic KPI dashboards, financial models, and tracking tools to facilitate real-time, data-informed decision-making.
  • Evaluate plant-level performance and identify strategic opportunities, including greenfield sites and acquisitions, supporting capital allocation and performance optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting, including audit, FP&A, or transaction advisory roles.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP with experience in month-end close processes.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Highly accountable, ownership-driven, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and confident communicator, capable of collaborating across finance, operations, and executive teams.
  • CPA or experience at a Big 4/mid-tier public accounting firm is a plus.
  • Industry background in transportation, industrials, construction, or asset-intensive sectors is beneficial.
