Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System is seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee Finance operations in West Point, GA. The role requires ensuring GAAP compliance, tax handling, monthly closes, and audits, while coordinating with the Korean parent company on reporting.

The position emphasizes cost accounting, internal controls, and budget management within a manufacturing environment, with a focus on accuracy, integrity, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field.
• 7 years of accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of financial and accounting principles.
• Proficient knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
• Prior experience in a leadership or managerial position preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounting and Finance operations.
• Handle all company tax-related issues.
• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Cost accounting analysis.
• Conduct monthly financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist with audit processes and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Prepare the official annual report on actual revenues and expenses.
• Prepare financial outlooks and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
• Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
