Job summary

Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System in West Point, GA seeks an Accounting Team Manager to lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, ensuring accurate financial reporting under US GAAP. You will oversee GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, inventory accounting, tax compliance, internal controls, and audits, while driving process improvements.

You will manage SAP FI processes, provide strategic analyses to management, and guide a high-performing accounting team in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with month, year-end closing, financial reporting, tax compliance, internal controls and audits.
• Experience with inventory accounting, cost accounting, and fixed asset accounting preferred.
• Experience with general ledger, account reconciliation, AP/AR oversight preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and support schedules.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
• Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Manage inventory accounting and related reconciliations.
• Review intercompany transactions and account balances.
• Coordinate federal, state, and local tax compliance activities.
• Support transfer pricing and tax reporting requirements.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external audits.
• Drive SAP FI accounting processes and process improvements.
