Job summary

Republic Airways invites students to join its Finance Internship Program at the Carmel, IN headquarters. This hands-on role provides mentorship, shadowing across departments, and professional development workshops.

Interns will support journal entries, month-end close, and GL reconciliation while collaborating with Finance and Accounting teams on projects. Candidates must be pursuing a Finance or Accounting degree with a 3.0+ GPA and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group.

Responsibilities

• Prepares journal entries and assists with the month-end close process.
• Prepares and reconciles various general ledger accounts.
• Attends monthly departmental meetings.
• Collaborates with the different teams amongst the Finance and Accounting department.
• Completes various projects as needed and presents results to team members periodically.
