Job summary

PIMCO offers a 10-week Summer Internship for Finance & Accounting Analysts at our Newport Beach, CA headquarters. You will work on projects across FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax, and client billing, partnering with the Executive Office.

The program emphasizes hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to AI-powered tools from day one. You’ll learn financial planning, analysis, and controls while collaborating with a high‑performance team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree
• Must be able to begin full time employment from a PIMCO office between January 2028 - August 2028
• Must be enrolled at a university during the Fall 2027 semester (August 2027 - December 2027)
• Have a minimum 3.4 cumulative collegiate GPA on a 4.0 scale
• Business proficient in English

Responsibilities

• Work on projects within Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Client Billing, and partnering with the Executive Office
• Gain exposure to financial drivers of the firm and to financial operations and accounting
• Work with AI-powered tools from day one to build future-ready skills
