Job summary

PIMCO’s Newport Beach headquarters offers a 10-week Summer Internship in the Consultant Relations Group. You will support the relationships between PIMCO, investment consultants, and client-facing teams, building exposure to performance data, market trends, and investment strategy positioning.

Qualifications

Pursuing an undergraduate degree and will be enrolled during Fall 2027 (Aug 2027–Dec 2027).
Must be able to begin full-time employment at a PIMCO office between Jan 2028–Aug 2028.
Have a minimum 3.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale at an accredited 4-year college or university.
Business proficient in English.

Responsibilities

Analyze performance data, market trends, and investment strategies to support insights for consultants and clients.
Conduct research on investment products and market conditions to inform consultant relations strategy and presentations.
Help prepare reports and updates for Account Managers summarizing investment performance, strategy changes, and market outlook.
Stay informed about market developments to provide timely insights for consultants.
Partner with teams across PIMCO to gather information and support a cohesive consultant relations approach.
Manage multiple priorities with urgency, sound judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail.
