Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in accounting and finance courses.
• One year experience teaching/training at the college level or in industry.
• Two years of full-time experience in accounting or finance.
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain the Colorado Career and Technical Education Teaching Credential.

Responsibilities

• Meet all scheduled classes and deliver instruction per course outline.
• Use diverse teaching methods to reach students with varying backgrounds.
• Inform students of course requirements via syllabus with objectives and assessment methods.
• Evaluate students regularly and provide progress feedback.
• Participate in department/college assessment of student outcomes.
• Recommend instructional materials and resources and maintain records as required.
