Job summary

AccruePartners is seeking a senior finance leader to own FP&A, budgeting, and cash flow management. You will partner with shop managers and operational leaders, provide insights, and drive profitability through variance analysis and strategic planning.

You will lead month-end close, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and ASC 842 lease accounting while ensuring US GAAP compliance and robust reporting. A CPA and supervisory experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• >5 years progressive accounting/finance with advancement into FP&A
• 3+ years supervisory/management experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/business; CPA preferred
• Strong US GAAP knowledge with ASC 606 & ASC 842
• Experience budgeting, rolling forecasts, cash flow models
• Experience leading monthly business reviews with variance analysis
• Cost-of-goods-sold knowledge for manufacturing/service-heavy environments

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the monthly Business Review process with KPIs, insights and variance analysis for management.
• Implement and maintain a 13-week rolling cash flow forecast to identify liquidity risks and opportunities.
• Conduct monthly variance analyses and develop corrective actions with ops leaders.
• Serve as financial partner to shop managers and operational leaders with benchmarking insights.
• Lead annual budgeting and long-range financial planning.
• Perform benchmarking to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Ensure timely monthly financial reporting and consolidation of subsidiary results.
• Oversee month-end close, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and US GAAP compliance.
• Coordinate intercompany balances and consolidation support.
• Support external audits and auditor relationships.
• Lead lease accounting (ASC 842) and reporting.
• Oversee treasury and working capital, payroll, AP/AR processes.
• Manage sales and use tax compliance across states.
