Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or finance experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, CCP and accounting principles.
• Experience processing payroll for multi-location businesses preferred.
• Experience filing multi-state sales tax returns preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for the company.
• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Review and reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant accounts.
• Monitor cash flow and assist leadership with financial planning.
• Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and summaries.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly.
• Ensure financial records are audit-ready and well-organized.
