Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP in Tysons, VA is seeking an entry to mid-level Financial & Accounting Outsourcing Staff. You will work with partners, managers, associates and clients on compliance, grant management, and cost analysis projects, ensuring accurate financial controls and risk management across a variety of industries.

You will develop knowledge of FAR, CAS, Uniform Guidance and other federal regulations while supporting contract modifications, pricing, and walkthroughs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Interest in FAR/CAS/Uniform Guidance or related federal regulations.
• Developing understanding of US GAAP.
• Ability to work under deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Willingness to pursue CPA or CIA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead engagements to help clients manage risks to internal control environments.
• Provide contract and grant management support and assist with pricing/estimating.
• Analyze clauses and terms for solicitations and contract awards for clients.
• Conduct subcontractor evaluations and assist with contract close outs.
• Conduct cost and price analysis and assist with walkthroughs and process development.
• Provide training to clients and perform Excel modeling and data analysis.
• Collaborate with partners, managers, and clients on compliance projects (FAR, DFARS, CAS).
• Assist with developing policies, procedures and internal control improvements.
