Job summary

Edgeworth Economics seeks an Accounting & Finance Analyst to join our Finance team in Washington, DC. You will handle daily accounting, monthly reporting, client billing, accounts payable review, and general ledger maintenance as part of a broad, collaborative finance function.

This role supports year‑end close, audits, and process improvements, working with Sage Intacct, Concur, and Excel to improve data integrity and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• CPA designation preferred and GAAP knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting tasks and maintain general ledger.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Support client billing, accounts payable review, and expense management.
• Participate in audits and internal control improvements.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve data integrity.
