Qualifications

• Detail-oriented leader with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, or related field; GPA 3.0+ requirement.
• On track to sit for the CPA exam with goal of CPA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting assistance to clients on an ongoing, recurring basis as part of a team.
• Deliver accounting solutions impacting clients’ business processes and reporting.
• Perform monthly financial close.
• Complete financial account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial statements and provide fluctuation observations and recommendations.
• Prepare balance sheets and income statements.
• Prepare sales, payroll, and property tax filings.
• Prepare and file Forms 1099.
• Evaluate business and accounting processes and procedures.
• Recognize and recommend improvements to accounting processes and systems.
• Interact with audit, tax, wealth management, consulting, and other practice areas.
