Job summary

Jobtailor in Los Angeles seeks a motivated accounting student to assist with audit procedures and documentation, contributing to audits, reviews, and related engagements. You will work with the engagement team and client personnel to support needs and build relationships.

You will interpret financial data, communicate findings, and research industry matters while participating in trainings to boost skills and engagement. CPA licensure planning is encouraged for 2027–2028.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
• Plan to complete 150 semester/225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 – August 2028 strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performance and documentation of audit procedures and preparation of workpapers to contribute to the completion of audit, review, and other engagements.
• Work as an individual contributor and as part of an engagement team to support client needs.
• Interpret and analyze financial data and communicate all findings and issues to the engagement team.
• Research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters.
• Engage with client personnel, as well as the engagement team to develop further relationships.
• Participate in trainings and activities to boost skills and engagement.
