Job summary

HB NEXT, located in Lawrenceville, GA, is seeking a Finance & Accounting Analyst to join the Corporate Finance & Accounting team in-office. The role reports to senior leadership and focuses on supporting the monthly close, budgeting, and strategic analyses while partnering with executives and investors.

The ideal candidate has a finance-related degree, 0–2 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and effective communication across levels, with mentorship from the CFO in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or analytics (internships included).
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and financial modeling skills.
• Working knowledge of core financial and accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Comfortable interacting with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Flexible, self-directed, and willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Perform ad hoc financial and business analyses to support company growth, including potential acquisitions and investments.
• Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process in partnership with business leaders.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This role works directly with the CFO, executive leadership, and investors providing critical finance and accounting support for key strategic initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS — PREFERRED

• Exposure to financial modeling for M&A, investment, or valuation analysis
• Familiarity with BI/data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with an ERP or accounting system (Sage Intacct experience a plus)
