Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking an Accountant IV in Pittsburgh to drive revenue analysis, contract evaluation for deferral treatment, and P&L/balance sheet reviews for Eagle entities. You will interface with business teams on client contract structures and lead billing migration initiatives.

The role requires strong communication, advanced data skills, and experience with corporate accounting for mid-large firms. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent work experience.
• 5-10+ years of accounting experience, preferably in mid-large sized companies.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong communication skills and data analysis abilities.
• Experience with financial services and internally developed software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in accounting or finance; or equivalent work experience.
• 5-10+ years of experience
• Accounting major/CPA preferred
• Background in mid-large sized-companies
• Strong communicator
• Automation/process improvement skillset
• Advanced ability to analyze large datasets using technology tools
• Financial services background
• Accounting experience with internally developed software
• Prior billing experience
• Advanced Excel & Microsoft Word
• Experience with PowerBI, PowerQuery, AI tools (copilot), Sage50 (general ledger tool), Oracle General Ledger is preferred
