Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center is offering a Summer Nurse Externship for nursing students entering their final year. The 10-week program combines classroom and clinical orientation with hands-on bedside care under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Nursing student in final year of an accredited Nursing Program with at least one clinical rotation.
• Graduate nurse without boards required for eligibility.
• Commitment to Summer Nurse Externship duration and program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic bedside care under RN supervision.
• Learn and demonstrate routine nursing procedures and assessment skills.
• Collaborate with the RN to support patient safety and comfort.
