Job summary

Veeco Instruments Inc. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Technician for Final Test on 2nd shift in Horsham, PA. Primary duties include testing newly manufactured or refurbished systems, configuring setups, calibrating, and qualifying subsystems.

Daily coordination with Manufacturing Engineering, Assembly, and R&D ensures quality and on-time delivery. The role requires at least 5 years of hands-on testing experience and strong reading of technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a High School diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Ability to read and interpret highly technical documents (schematics, drawings, BOMs, procedures).
• Strong communication skills and teamwork to interface with customers, management, and peers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot testing activity discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Assembly, Engineering, and R&D to resolve complex issues found during Test.
• Manage manufacturing test data associated with Acceptance testing (ETL & ATL).
• Compile statistical reports for each system during Final Test.
• Analyze discrepancy data to provide corrective action.
• Identify improvements of test methods and collaborate with Engineering for new products.
